Chris Davis, Wide Receiver
Profile By: John Frascella @LegendSports7 on Twitter
Chris is one of those wide receivers who really takes the time to get all the
fundamentals down… At 5’11”, 175 pounds out of Bel Air High School in Texas,
he already has collegiate interest from Temple, UPenn, UNH and UTEP… His 3.8
GPA is certainly impressive on top of his undeniable football skills.
In terms of speed and pure athleticism, Chris is running a 4.52 40-yard dash right
now, very explosive… He can absolutely take the top off the opposing defense
when he sprints into the second level… On the stat sheet, he was very productive
on his way to 57 receptions, 1,084 receiving yards and 10 pivotal touchdowns…
He’s one of those wide receiver prospects who thrives in The Eye Test as well as
statistical output.
In terms of technical nuances – despite being a young player – Chris is already a
very slick route runner… He gets off the line of scrimmage quickly and is very
shifty in his maneuvers… A lot of quick, sharp, aggressive cuts and pivots, he’s a
tough WR to stay in front of defensively… Right now, he has solid hands with the
potential to be even better as he continues working extremely hard on his game.
Chris is a coach’s dream with a quick mind and great attitude… He picks things up
quickly and processes well on the fly… Coach Jason Williams and I think Chris
Davis would be a great asset to any collegiate program looking for a smart,
talented and hard-working young wide receiver.

CoachJay Evaluation : Chris jumps off the page from the very first play of his tape. Shows ability to play inside and make a lot of plays. He grades as a G5 prospect in the class of 2024.
